3D-Printing/Additive Manufacturing
Advanced 3D Printing - Additive Manufacturing
3D printing (also known as Additive Manufacturing) is a process used to quickly create or "print out" three-dimensional objects using computer control to fuse materials together.
In this live training, participants will learn how to design their own 3D models and how to use a 3D printer.
Objective
The course serves as an introduction to the use of 3D-printing in the manufacturing:
- Explanation and overview of the relevant additive manufacturing technologies
- Consideration of economic and technical aspects: added value and limitations
- Design engineering/design as the first step to successfully using NX system or Autodesk Fusion
- The critical importance of an integrated process chain: hardware and software
- Vision: What does the future hold for 3D printing?
Note
- Trainer will arrange venue and hardware
Content
- Introduction to 3D printing
